I made a todo-list this week. Yes, I know, to do-list number 134. But this one was different:
TODO: Heartbeat-moments:
- Go to Brennels, just to walk
- Go to the park, to read a book underneath a tree
- Go swimming
- Go do something awesome with my family member(s)
- Create something. Poem. Picture. Painting. Something.
- Write down what I've learned from all those times I kept running and didn't feel my heartbeat anymore.
- Pick flowers.
- Have a really good conversation with a close friend.
I'm really proud to say that I did (almost) all of them! And I finished my other 133 todo-lists too, including working for 25 hours at a callcenter, editing 50 photographs, e-mailing a lot of people, etc. etc. etc.
Go to the park,
Check!
Go swimming:
Check! (This silly short video was filmed in a swimming pool.)
Go do something amazing with my family member:
Check! I went to Amsterdam with my dad, I will post something about that awesome day later.
Create something
Sort of check! I didn't actually created something this week because I need more time and more rest to regain inspiration, but I did create a lot of photographs this week.
Write down all the things I've learned:
Not check yet, but I'm planning on doing that next week!
Pick flowers:
Check!
Have a really good conversation with a good friend.
Check! Check! Double check!
This whole "Hearbeat-list" was actually an idea I got while I had a very honest and deep conversation with my best friend.
I still had some 'running-empty', "stressing like a chicken" moments this week, but this week already was better than last week because of those heartbeat-moments. I can't wait to create a heartbeat-list for next week...
That´s really awesome, like the fact that you also enjoy the simple stuff! Love your photos, they express peace and serenity.
